Our method of selecting the trophy you wish to hunt at R&P Whitetails from out trail camera and other photos was 100% successful in 2016 and 2017. All of our hunters who selected the buck they wished to hunt from photos on our website before arriving, were all successful in harvesting their trophies once they arrived at our place. Although it took one hunter 4 days to finally connect with his buck. The best thing though, is seeing the satisfaction on their faces after successfully harvesting some truly trophy animals. Oklahoma whitetail deer hunting on our preserve will be similar to South Texas hunting seen on TV. The place you will hunt allows the deer to escape and hide just like any other hunting area, however it is small enough that with some effort and time a hunter should be able to hunt and get an opportunity at the deer selected. It will be as challenging a hunt as hunting from a blind or stand can be (accept here, you won't be hunting where there aren't any deer in the area). Your guide will do his best to see that you have an opportunity to harvest your trophy. We at R&P Whitetails don't believe in seeing how many hunts we can run through our preserve. We are more interested in providing the most enjoyable and exciting hunt possible for a few repeat customers at a fair price. Some bucks for one reason or another don't turn into large rack trophy bucks, but they can be just as much fun to hunt. That first buck for a son or daughter doesn't have to be a giant to put a smile on their face and memories in their head. Many of our management bucks would be considered trophies in other less carefully managed hunting hunt areas.
This is a guaranteed guided whitetail deer hunt
If you don't get the opportunity to shoot at the quality of deer you are after. You don't pay for the trophy you didn't get. Your guide will approximate the score and age of your trophy before a shot is fired. Shots will not be taken without your guide's permission. Wounded animals; any animal leaving a blood trail, will be charged the same as a kill. A wounded deer will be tracked and if not found will be treated as a dead deer and will be valued based on the guides estimate of the score or the original agreed upon price.
$300 for one day doe hunt (extra day if needed).
